The 14th Annual Iceberg Festival will run for 10 days, from June 3rd-12th, 2022.

The Dark Tickle Company, St. Lunaire-Griquet

Try the Partridgeberry Ambrosia with bergy bits, a specialty iced drink served over iceberg ice. Served only during The Iceberg Festival. Or enjoy a great coffee, a variety of teas, soup, sandwiches, and daily specials! Specialized desserts featuring the wild berries of The Dark Tickle Company. Takeout available. Icebergs, whales, dolphin, seabirds, and a lesson in local history! An innovative interpretation program in the heart of "Iceberg Alley." Join a local historian, as they tell stories about the excursions of Dr. Grenfell and his travels along the coast of Northern Newfoundland and Labrador. Not all danced out from the previous night? The Fine Lads are having a matinee at the Grenfell Interpretation Centre at 2:00pm, and all ages are welcome! Philip Hardy of Port aux Basques, NL, and Donovan Conran of Port au Port, NL are back, and are ready to hear you sing along to traditional Newfoundland songs! Tickets are available on the door or in advance online for $10 per person.

Join Pastry Chef Aaron McInnis as he provides a class on how to make your own fresh butter and biscuits.

Children ages 7-15 years. Create your own piece of embroidered art with a piece of sea glass.

Fee: $8 (material included). Weather permitting, this event will be held outdoors.

Polar Centre, St. Anthony

Join Chef Aaron McInnis as he introduces participants to the world or baking and decorating. Each participant will get cookies, a decorating kits and hot chocolate, which was donated by Tim Hortons. Door prizes. Kids 8 and under require an adult to stay with them. $10 per participant.

6:30pm  Traditional Kitchen Party

Grenfell Interpretation Centre, St. Anthony

An evening of music and food.  Traditional Newfoundland meal of fish cakes, homemade cabbage pickles, toutons & local jams, tea/coffee will be provided. Expect a visit from a mummer or two! Drop by the centre and watch the local ladies create a traditional Grenfell hooked rug. If interested, you can give your hand a try at the hooking. Refreshments will be served.

Do you want to spend your evening with your friends while playing trivia and indulging in amazing locally-brewed beers and some delicious desserts? The correct answer is yes; we’re just getting you warmed up. Come on down to Ragnaröck (19+) on Monday, June 6th at 7:00pm to play some good ole’ trivia paired with a provided flight of beer and desserts prepared by our pastry chef, Aaron McInnis, who resides from Stephenville, NL.
